Academy of Innovation & Design

To jump-start our Academy building in sy2021-2022, our project was a collaborative effort including all classes in our Academy of Innovation & Design. Students in our Science and Social Studies classes first identified historical quotes students could identify with in relation to the theme of our Academy. Next, our English classes had students utilize the quotes to compose narrative essays to express their thoughts and reflections on how the quotes related to them personally. Our CTE classes in Digital Media, Graphics Design Tech, Engineering and Architecture then used the narrative essays as inspiration for the videos and posters you will find accessible around campus by scanning the 3D printed QR codes affixed to various locations.

Here is a sneak at just one of those productions "Limits" ​​​​​​​ (essays written by students Makayla Karimi and Elijah Adams, video produced by students Rachel Chidester and Chavis Cutcher-Sumida).  To view the other videos that were created, look for the QR codes that have been lasercut and fixed at different areas around campus.
