Morning Announcements for 8/6/26 Morning Announcements for 8/6/26 Show Transcript good Morning Red Raiders here are your announcements for Thursday August 6th 2026 I'm Caitlyn and I'm Micah today's schedule is a Special Assembly schedule face lunch is hot dog with bun Terry tots and roasted kabocha cucumbers and fresh fruit tomorrow's breakfast will be Center and roll turkey links fresh fruit and sliced peaches just a reminder Mr R Charles period 6 class has lunch duty today a total of 6 students must report to the cafeteria 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the Lunch Period attention all students if you want to request a schedule change please see your counselor as soon as possible the deadline for any scheduled changes is August 12th 2026 attention all students are you looking for the next big opportunity this is professionals are made as a Deca member you'll have a chance to compete travel develop leadership skills make new friends and prepare for college and future careers in business marketing Finance hospitality and Entrepreneurship if you are interested in becoming a Deca member stop stop by room a105 for an informational meeting this Friday August 7th during lunch recess or see Mrs Ozaukee for more information Deca this year is the next big thing and you don't want to miss the chance of being a part of Team deca attention all faculty and staff as we prepare for the upcoming school year we would like to remind everyone about the Hawaii Department of Education cell phone policy and expectations for classroom implementation please note that maintaining phone free instructional time is no longer just a campus level preference or a kawaii high school policy it is mandatory Statewide policy established by the Hawaii Board of Education for all public schools mandatory enforcements all faculty and staff members are expected to consistently May enforce this policy across all classes and campus activities the instructional time performance must remain off and Away during all instructional class periods this includes going to the bathroom or leaving class to see a counselor Administration or the health if a student is leaving your class during instructional time the phone should remain in the room unless the student is not returning during that period non-instructional time high school students are permitted limited use during non-instructional period such as lunch and passing period provided it does not cause disruption exceptions exceptions are permitted only for documented medical or educational needs or emergencies or specific teacher approved instructional activities consistent schoolwide enforcement is title to minimizing classroom distractions fostering focused learning environments and supporting our students overall well-being thank you for your commitment and support in maintaining a focused academic environment for our students these are your announcements for today have an outstanding day
