Morning Announcements for 8/5/26 Morning Announcements for 8/5/26 Show Transcript good morning Rod Raiders here are your announcements for Wednesday August 5th 2026 I'm Micah and I'm Caitlyn today's schedule is a special schedule today's lunch is chili and cheese nachos and salsa green salad re-fried beans fruit juice and pineapple chunks tomorrow's breakfast will be cheesy bread sticks marinara sauce and fresh fruit just a reminder Mr rickshaws period 5 class has lunch day today a total of 6 students must report to the cafeteria 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the Lunch Period attention sophomores Juniors and seniors Today class changes are for seniors only sophomores and juniors will not be able to make schedule changes today beginning to tomorrow class changes will be open to all grade levels freshmen May begin speaking with Mrs Moises today regarding class changes thank you attention all faculty and staff as we prepare for the upcoming school year we would like to remind everyone about the whole 8 Department of Education cell phone policy and expectations for classroom implementation please note that maintaining phone free instructional time is no longer just a level preference or a kawaii high school policy it is a mandatory Statewide policy established by the Hawaii Board of Education for all public schools mandatory enforcements all faculty and staff members are expected Ed to consistently enforce this policy across all classes and campus activities instructional time phones must remain off and Away during all instructional class periods this includes going to the bathroom or leaving class to see a counselor Administration or the health room if a student is leaving your class during instructional time the phone should remain in the room unless the student is not returning during that period non-instructional time high school students are permitted limited use during non-instructional period such as lunch and passing period provided it does not cause disruption exceptions exceptions are permitted only for a documented medical or educational needs or emergencies or specific teacher approved instructional activities consistent schoolwide enforcement is vital to minimizing classroom distractions fostering focused learning environments and supporting our students overall well-being the cell phone policy is in your office boxes and must be followed by all students thank you for your commitment and support in maintaining a focused academic environment for our students attention all seniors on an authorized modified schedule period 4 today Wednesday August 5th where students are to attend all periods 1 through 7 seniors with period for modified must report to the cafeteria for the duration of that period you will not be allowed to leave campus as you have periods 5 through 7 to attend if you have a modified period 7 you will be allowed to leave after 6 period is concluded provided you have your student modified pass if you didn't pick up a student modified pass from the register's office you must do so before leaving campus these are your announcements for today have a fabulous day
