Morning Announcements for 5/12/25 Raider Rundown - Daily Edition for 5/12/25 Show Transcript hi everybody my name is principal Joy here at Kauai High School this is amazing high school at a wonderful place for our faculty and staff and even our wonderful students they come here every day to learn and they're so excited for it um I'm principal Cruise kids are annoying jobs annoying but it pays the bills there is 1 problem that we do face here at Kawaii high school with our faculty um and our students and that is the teacher shortage but that's okay because I'm here miss Joy and I can watch all of our students in the cafeteria yeah there's no way I'm on that honestly I'm more interested in exploring other methods because hiring Subs cuts into my bonus check this time breathe I don't have water any of that kind of complaints let's go let's move it come on you know what to do go go go go all right get out heads down come on just like last night this is not again not again this is quick but for me I'm happy sacrificing for the kids I'm not it's what I do it's what we should do all right let's go come on can I see the video when you done oh uh my bad when she nags me enough I'll break in higher Subs we've let almost anyone do it convicts robots puppets hey get back to work we even got we got some volunteers from hanamalo Beach did not go well I mean it wasn't all bad we did bring in some influential role models from our community we had LeBron James bronny James and Tom Brady principal Cruise do you have a moment okay what um so I've been getting flooded with emails all morning and the teachers have been complaining about too many students and not enough supplies there's 2 things that we need to focus on and 1 has to be what are we going to do with all the funds okay well I definitely want to be in charge of all the money on supervised and for too many kids not enough supplies wait a second I'll handle that too awesome thank you Mr Cruise now I can go find the 150 missing kids this was my greatest stroke of Genius as a principal and that's something too many kids not enough supplies what if the kids became the supplies all right guys this is your announcements for May 2025 just a reminder Miss aldon's period 3 classes lunch duty today a total of 6 students must report to the cafeteria 15 minutes prior to the beginning of lunch now attention all teachers student staff and admin those beautiful yearbooks you've been seeing around campus are now for sale in the office please come before school recess lunch or after school to buy 1 today cash only attention to all students Kawaii high school girls volleyball summer training signups will be posted around campus scan Co and fill out the form you'll receive an email with start dates and times so I'm a training will start in June it'll be offered to current Kawaii high school students and upcoming freshmen students summer training is to better train students who are interested in trying out for the 2025 girls Bobby ball season all right those are your announcements thank you I can expand double even my principal bonus because I don't have to buy staplers I don't need any more trash cans we don't have to worry about about repairing golf carts anymore on my way and I don't have to higher plumber to fix the water fountains math math math math math math math math math math math math math can I go get some water yeah go math math math math math there's no water oh there we go good morning everyone principal Joy here um a few things that I wanted to point out is principal Crews will no longer be with us um it things didn't work out but I'm really optimistic for the next school year as we were able to adjust things like our teacher shortage and get tons of substitutes that were perfect to hire I'm itchy hi everyone I miss Purcell the real vice principal and even though this story is fake our subs shortage is real so if you know anyone in interested in becoming a substitute click here
